Wood Ranch amenities are as follows (pavilions require advance reservation):
- Large Pavilion: 10 picnic tables, large charcoal grill, fire pit, fireplace, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and playground
- Small Pavilion: 6 picnic tables, large charcoal grill, fire pit, and fireplace
- Kid’s pond where children 12 and under may fish for free. (Must be accompanied by an Adult with a valid Utah Fishing License) — NOT RESERVABLE
- Trash cans
- Seasonal water
- Electricity
- Two double vault toilets
- Large grassy meadow — NOT RESERVABLE
- Several picnic tables and charcoal grills located throughout the area on a first-come, first-served basis
- Emergency satellite phone
As of January 1, 2026, Iron County Parks & Recreation non-refundable fees for the use of the Wood Ranch pavilions have changed (no exceptions):
- Small Pavilion:
- Groups 1–100: $40 per day
- Groups 101–199: $60 per day
- Large Pavilion:
- Groups 1–100: $50 per day
- Groups 101–199: $75 per day
- Groups of 200+ requires a Special Event Permit with appropriate fees as well as approval from the Parks & Recreation Director.
- Students K–12: Free (education/training purposes only)
No refunds upon cancellation. Dates may be changed upon request and must be within the current calendar year.
The reservation season for Wood Ranch runs from June 1 (weather permitting) through September 30. Off-season requests must be coordinated with the Parks & Recreation Director. End-of-season reservations should consider winterization schedules.
Reservation requests are accepted for the current calendar year only.
No reservation applications will be accepted until the first working day of the calendar year.

A completed reservation request form and applicable fees (cash, check, or credit card) must be submitted in person to:

Reservations are confirmed only by the reservation coordinator upon receipt of payment.
Reservation applications and alcohol use permit forms may be picked up at the address above or submitted digitally through the Iron County website under Departments → Community → Parks & Recreation. Digital submissions receive an email response within two business days. Payment must be made in person or by phone.
A temporary two-week hold may be placed on a requested date. If not confirmed within this period, the date may be released to another party.
Special events require a permit and additional documentation, including liability insurance and medical/law enforcement notifications. Special event fees may apply up to $500. Please contact the Parks & Recreation Director well in advance to begin the permit process.
