Shooting Range Reservation

Only Special Event Space has to be reserved. All other bays are First Come First Serve

FEES: GROUPS 1-25 = $25.00/26+ = $50.00

NO REFUNDS will be granted for any reason, including conditions outside of our control, such as inclement weather, flooding, and/or fire restrictions. NO WATER OR POWER ARE PRESENT! While some amenities are provided on site, it is the sole responsibility of the below signed parties to provide their own firearms, ammunition, targets, cleaning and hand-washing supplies, drinking water, power source, extra seating, etc.

The Shooting Range is a public range maintained by Iron County for the benefit of Iron County residents and their friends. In as much as this range is maintained by County funds, and whereas it is open to the general public for use, after appropriate reservations made and fees paid, certain REGULATIONS AND RULES MUST BE ADHERED TO for the benefit of the entire public and are as follows:

  • ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION AT THE SHOOTING RANGE IS PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES!
  • NO CAMPING IS ALLOWED AT THE SHOOTING RANGE!
  • ANY PORTION OF ANY DAY USED, INCLUDING SET UP & TEAR DOWN, IS SUBJECT TO THE FULL FEE OF THE USE OF THE RANGE!
  • No sale of beverages, goods, foods or other business or commercial transactions shall occur on the premises without prior approval by Iron County Commissioners.
  • Use of fireworks and exploding targets in the Shooting Range is strictly prohibited and subject to prosecution.
  • Shooting is only permitted in the boundaries of the Shooting Range.
  • LEAVE NO TRACE! All trash must be carried out or deposited in the containers provided. Not buried!
  • Any destruction of public property or littering is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE punishable by fine and/or incarceration. Please report vandalism or any criminal acts to the Iron County Sheriff's Office at (435)867-7550.
  • Please have a copy of your approved reservation with you on site.
  • IRON COUNTY SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO PERSONAL PROPERTY BROUGHT TO 5 MILE PICNIC AREA. ALL PERSONAL PROPERTY IS REQUIRED TO BE REMOVED UPON COMPLETION OF THE USE OF THE PARK.
  • Please respect other groups enjoying the park.
  • PLEASE DO NOT FEED OR DISTURB WILDLIFE!

I, the undersigned applicant under penalties or perjury, declare that I have examined and completed the above application, and to the best of my knowledge and belief, said application is a true, correct, and complete assessment of the intended use of the park. I agree to the rules and regulations. I also agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Iron County and/or its agencies and representatives against and from any and all demands, claims, liabilities of every nature whatsoever, including but not limited to, damages to property, or injuries or death of persons arising directly or indirectly from the use and occupancy of the recreation area.
