What We Do

  • Bill and collect real property, business, and mobile home taxes
  • Distribute taxes to taxing entities
  • Process refunds of overpaid property taxes
  • Publish a listing of delinquent taxes annually

What We Don't Do

  • Determine your property value
  • Determine the tax rate
  • Manage abatements, deferrals, or exemption programs
  • Administer property value appeals

Delinquent Taxes

Taxes are delinquent if paid after December 1, 2025.

  • Iron County property taxes must be brought to our office by 5:00 p.m. on December 1, or
  • Be postmarked on or before December 1, 2025 by the United States Postal Service, or
  • Paid online with a receipt transaction time before 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Time) on December 1.

2025 Real Property Taxes were due on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025.

State law requires a 1% penalty (per parcel, $10 minimum). The penalty increases and interest begins to accrue if taxes are not paid in full by January 31, 2026.
