The Cedar Senior Center is open:

Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Center meals

The Cedar City Senior Center provides a delicious home-cooked lunch prepared by a professional staff of cooks. Meals meet government requirements for nutrition, dietary standards, and sanitation.

Lunch is served on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Serving begins promptly at 12:00 p.m. Music, entertainment, or presentations are often provided during lunch.

Reservations are required by calling before 9:00 a.m. on the day you plan to attend. Suggested donation is $4.00 per meal for ages 60 and older. Guests under 60 must pay $7.00 per meal.

Activity schedule

The Cedar City Senior Center offers a variety of activities. No matter where you live, you are welcome to attend. Activities include:

Senior shuttle bus

Those unable to drive to the Senior Center may be picked up in time to play Bingo at 11:00 a.m. and enjoy lunch. Call 435-586-0832 to see if you qualify and to arrange pickup.

Please note: There are restrictions associated with the Senior Bus, such as where you live and your ability to ride on the bus.

Lunch at the Cedar Center

Lunches are served Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday promptly at noon. Please call by 9:00 a.m. the day you want to join for lunch so the kitchen staff can plan accordingly. Suggested donation is $4.00 for ages 60 and older. Guests under 60 must pay $7.00 per meal.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels (opens in a new tab) is available for seniors age 60 and older who qualify as homebound. Customers must be unable to transport themselves (or have someone else transport them) to the Senior Center for lunch.

Lunch meals are delivered in the Cedar City area on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, typically between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Suggested donation is $4.00 per meal.

Meals are delivered in sections: a sealed tray with cold items (salads, desserts, etc.) and a hot tray with the main course and vegetables, plus a drink (milk or water). Refer to the monthly menu calendar.
