Lunch at the Senior Center

Enjoy a home-cooked lunch prepared by professional cooks and served three days each week.

Meal Information

The Cedar City Senior Center provides a home-cooked lunch prepared by professional cooks. Meals meet government requirements for nutrition, dietary standards, and sanitation.

Lunch is served on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, beginning promptly at 12:00 PM. Music, entertainment, or presentations are often provided during lunch.

Reservations Required

Please call 435-586-0832 before 9:00 AM on the day you plan to attend. Reservations help the cooks prepare the correct number of meals.

Transportation

Senior Shuttle

Transportation may be available for seniors who are unable to drive to the Senior Center.

Need a Ride to the Center?

Those unable to drive to the Senior Center may be picked up in time to participate in the daily activity at 11:00 AM and enjoy lunch.

Shuttle Eligibility

Restrictions apply to the Senior Shuttle, including where you live and your ability to ride on the bus.

Suggested donation: $2.00 to ride the shuttle.

Home Delivery

Meals on Wheels

Meal delivery is available for qualifying homebound seniors age 60 and older.

Home-Delivered Meals

Meals on Wheels is available for seniors age 60 and older who qualify as homebound. Call the Senior Center at 435-586-0832 to find out if you qualify.

Typical Delivery

10:00 AM–1:00 PM

Meals are delivered throughout the Cedar City and Enoch area. The suggested donation is $4.00 per meal.

Meals include a sealed tray with cold items such as salads and desserts, along with a hot tray containing the main course, vegetables, and milk. Refer to the current menu for meal selections.
